Tired of Just Surviving
So many of us are just surviving this life, and yet we have this deep desire to thrive. I think over these last couple of years we have all realized the need to work on ourselves and find a way to make life happy and fulfilling. A life where we feel like we are thriving!
Thriving can look different for everyone but the feeling is similar for all of us. Thriving to me feels like: lightness, excitement, joy, and an awareness of what is going on inside and around you. To respond and not just react to the world around you. Being able to feel on top of life's demands and find what you want to do in this life. What are your true priorities in life? We all have different things that we deeply care about and want to make the focus of this season in our lives.
But honestly how to get a thriving life… Here are my suggestions:
Prioritize what is important to you and the life you want to create.
What makes you happy? Do more of that! (No, that doesn’t mean anything that brings you harm.)
Create boundaries for toxic people in your life. Remember the people who get angry with boundaries are those who have taken advantage of yours.
Start envisioning the life you want and move towards it. What is the first small step you can take toward that goal?
The biggest components of our well-being are Sleep, Eating, and Exercise. (How much sleep and how good it is. When, how, and what we are eating? How much we are moving our bodies.)
